Yay finally starting my countdown to school! Only 12 more days left and I cannot wait! I miss my gorgeous sissies so much! And so much to look forward to! Recruitment starts right away and our themes are GORGEOUS! Don't want to give too much away but heres a little hint: White tea dresses with light blue sashes! Omg dyinnngggg. Here are some tips for all you freshies excited about rushing!
The Three B's: conversation topics to avoid
Boys- Its ok to mention a boyfriend, but don't go on and on about him. And do not talk about "hookups" you may have had in college. You never know if a sister has a past with him! And it should be a no brainer, but it has happened. DO NOT BRING YOUR BOYFRIEND TO AN INTEREST PARTY.
Booze: We all like to have a good time and a yummy cocktail, but do NOT talk about alcohol with a sister. Even if you know this girl has a rep as a party polly, don't bring up kegs, gin buckets, shots, etc. Its just trashy. And Party Polly may be trying to act classy for a night.
Bitches: Should be an obvi rule, but don't talk crap about girls! I picked up a lovely girl who started saying nasty things about one of my good friends. Safe to say she didn't score high.
The ABC's of dressing: What not to wear
First impressions are everything, so dress to impress. Whether its a cute top and nice jeans or a pretty cocktail dress, make sure you remember the cardinal rule. Check your ABC's!

Back to school time!
Summer is coming to an end and I am so excited to start my senior year of college! I realized today while going through my stuff that I need so much before going back! Here are some essentials I need before going back!
Navy Jack Rogers
I am so obsessed with my Jacks and just have to get a pair in navy. Its such a classic color and goes with almost everything!
Clinique Skincare
I have been using clinique since I was young and swear by it. I tried using another brand this summer while away at summer camp and was not happy with my skin. After TWO days of using this again my skin is already clear!
Lilly Pulitzer Planner
I know I still have a few months to go before my 2010-2011 planner is done, but I am so OCD and like to have the WHOLE thing filled up. Im so weird, but I just have to have the latest one to bring back to school.
As of right now, these are my essentials. I also MUST have a new Longchamp, a brand new wardrobe (preferably J.Crew, duh), a new lilly dress or two to wear for badge attire day and day drinking, a pair of nude pumps a la Princess Kate, a new makeup bag, and fingers crossed for an ipad and new fratberry (but those are a long shot). What are your essential items for back to school?
